In my Mailbox #27

This week has been another really great week for getting new books! I do actually have quite a lot to show you, so instead of rambling about where I got some of them from in the video, and making it really long, I'll tell you here...
On friday, Jenny (from Chocolate Chunky Munkie) and I went up to Nottingham together for the day, and then in the evening, we went to an event at Waterstones Nottingham, to meet the fabulous, New York Times bestselling author, Gail Carriger. And obviously, having been in a Waterstones, we had to also go book shopping!
So that's my story for the week, and you won't be confused when I mention Nottingham in the video :)
Oh, and before you ask, my finger is in a bandage because I'm clumsy and I burnt myself so badly that I ended up in hospital... just don't ask :P

Physical Books

eBooks
| Straight to Heaven (book one) | Vampires Rule |

Also, as promised, here is the photo of the Olympics book-related products I received for review from thatcompanycalledif:

Look out for reviews of these, as well as a review of the single Bookend soon!

As always, let me know what you got in your mailboxes this week, and if you've read any of the books I received this week, also let me know what you thought about those in the comments below :)

I'm so jealous of The Lone Wolf I want to get my hands on it so bad. Also I can't wait to read The Maze Runner. I hope you enjoy everything you got this week. Here's my IMM!

I wish I could have gone along to one of the Gail Carriger events but none were convenient for me...we tend to get forgotten down this end of the country!

I really must get my hands on a copy of Croak, it sounds just my kind of thing. One day we are going to get round to reading all our books........ who am I kidding lol. It might take us a wee while. Looking forward to our next bookish escapade :),

Great Olympic goodies! Those magnetic bookmarks are pretty neat ... and I've been meaning to get a booklight at some point, too! I really look forward to reading the Jodi Picoult one ... I'm not a huge fan of her work -- at least, I don't actually seek out her stuff -- but that one does look good.

The Killables looks really good! I haven't even heard of it ... I love a good dystopian! And the Gail Carriger ones are high on my list! I saw them on Jenny's blog and thought it was so cool that she got so many signed! Now I really have to read them ... I'm seeing them everywhere. :)

I can't wait to read Croak! That's funny about it being floppy ... I've never even noticed that with paperbacks! It sounds like a really good book ...

Hope your finger gets better ... burns really suck!

Happy reading!
