In my Mailbox #15

Instead of posting this in my usual Sunday slot, I am (obviously) posting it a day late. This is because I was busier than I thought I would be yesterday and have not had time to sit down and write this post until now. The main reason for this will become clear once you see the amount of books I received in the past week!

Thankfully, I only received two eBooks in the last week, so as usual, I will put these at the end of the post. But first, we have a mountain (yes, definitely a small mountain - or a large hill at the very least) of physical books to get through. I received quite a few review copies from publishers during the week and I went book shopping with Jenny from Chocolate Chunky Munkie, and this is the result of these two things. Prepare yourselves - I think this may be a personal record!

Book Shopping with Jen & Julie in Birmingham

More Book Lust by Nancy Pearl (From Jenny at Chocolate Chunky Munkie - Thanks Jen :D)
A Place of Secrets by Rachel Hore
Cold Magic by Kate Elliott
Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead

Grave Witch by Kalayna Price
My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares
Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
Black Swan Rising by Lee Carroll
Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Bought elsewhere

Night's Edge by Charlaine Harris & others
Catching Fire & Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
Torn by Cat Clarke

For review

From work: The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey
From Pan Macmillan: Switched by Amanda Hocking
From Bloomsbury: The Weight of Water by Sarah Crossan
Fracture by Megan Miranda
From Hachette: Slated by Teri Terry
Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
Heaven by Christoph Marzi
A Witch in Winter by Ruth Warburton
From the author: Changeling Moon by Dani Harper (won from her blog)

Thank you to all these publishers for my wonderful review copies - I'm really grateful for all of them. I have already reviewed The Weight of Water, the review for which can be read HERE.

eBooks (From NetGalley) for review

I'm very pleased to say that this week, Carina Press set my NetGalley profile to auto-approve, and these are the first two titles I've received with this:
Don't Bite the Messenger by Regan Summers
Blood of the Pride by Sheryl Nantus

My last IMM before my book buying ban looked about the same size :-D and do I really need to point out that my TBR piles have transformed into mountain ranges a loooong time ago?

Awww Birgit - I think mine is the same now. It's definitely not a single mountain any more. I love it this way, though. I'd much rather have to spend an hour having to choose what to read next, than to look at the books I have left unread and realise I'm not in the mood for them! How terrible would that be?!
:)

So many books, so little time said...

Lol that is quite impressive hon!

Seriously impressive haul, Dani! I have quite a few of these books on my TBR list and I just finished Anna Dressed in Blood yesterday, so I'll be curious to see what you think. :-) x
