This week's question is:
"What is your favourite type of candy?"

I'm not quite sure that this really has any particular relevance to book blogging, but I will post this all the same, as I am a huge fan of Halloween, despite how little we celebrate it here in England.
I have a mega sweet tooth, and crave sugary things pretty much 24/7. I love Orange chocolate, particularly Orange club bars (if all my readers know what they are). But although it's not quite 'candy', I also really love Bananas in custard, or Treacle sponge/sticky toffee pudding and custard.
But I have to say, without blowing modesty completely out of the window, the sweet things I like eating the most are the cakes I bake myself - there is something ultimately satisfying about making something like that from scratch - just a pile of flour, butter, sugar and some egg (and a little more...) makes something really delicious! And I stand by my previous statement that baking is magic. So to loop this back round to books - this is my absolute Baking Bible:
