Wishlist Wednesday #141

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop where we will post about one book per week that has been on our wishlist for some time, or just added (it's entirely up to you), that we can't wait to get off the wishlist and onto our wonderful shelves.

So what do you need to do to join in?
  • Follow Pen to Paper as host of the meme.
  • Please consider adding the blog hop button to your blog somewhere, so others can find it easily and join in too! Help spread the word! The code will be at the bottom of the post under the linky.
  • Pick a book from your wishlist that you are dying to get to put on your shelves.
  • Do a post telling your readers about the book and why it's on your wishlist.
  • Add your blog to the linky at the bottom of this post.
  • Put a link back to pen to paper ( somewhere in your post, and a note saying that Pen to Paper is the host of the meme.
  • Visit the other blogs and enjoy!

We Were Liars
by E. Lockhart

We are the Liars.

We are beautiful, privileged and live a life of carefree luxury.

We are cracked and broken.

A story of love and romance.

A tale of tragedy.

Which are lies?

Which is truth?

This is everywhere at the moment – people are going mad for it. And it's simply because of that fact that it's on my wishlist (and quite high up it too). The synopsis doesn't really tell you anything about the story, which makes it mysterious and enigmatic (which I quite like, but would be nice to know a little more, I guess), and it becomes even more so when you couple it with the title.
This is definitely a book I will be buying (and reading) soon.

Has anyone read this book? What did you think? (Nothing about the plot though please ... let's keep the mystery!)

What's on your wishlist this week? Let us know in the comments below, or link to your own Wishlist Wednesday post in the Linky :)

I just read this one last week, and loved it! It really does deserve all the buzz. I think it's a good idea to read this book without much advance information -- you'll be glad you did! I hope you enjoy it.
