Showcase Sunday #14

Showcase Sunday is a new weekly meme hosted by the wonderful Vicky at Books, Biscuits & Tea, where we will show off the books and eBooks we received each week.

Physical Books
Crusher by Niall Leonard
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
A Quick Bite by Lynsay Sands
Hereafter by Tara Hudson
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
Born at Midnight by C. C. Hunter
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

eBooks
Forgive my Fins by Tera Lynn-Childs:
I've been looking at this book for a little while now, but wasn't sure about whether to go for it or not, but when I saw it on the Kindle summer sale, for 99p, I had to get it.
Fingers crossed this author lives up to her name, because I've heard some great things about this series!

Hard Magic by Laura Anne Gilman:
This one was fairly high up my wishlist, but it wasn't one that I was planning on getting for a while. However, when I saw it on the Kindle Sale for just over £1, I obviously had to get it!

I have never read any classic books not sure I ever will. I LOVED Perfect Chemistry Simone has fast become one of my favourite authors I am actually reading the last one now. I have Anna and also Hereafter on my shelf but haven't got around to reading them yet but I have heard great things about Anna. I had A Quick Bite and got confussed about the order aswell but I'm sure it's the first one as it did explain the world and it didn't seem to give me hints from any previous books so I took it as the first. Hope you enjoy all your new books :)

Now that you mentioned it, I think I must revisit The Great Gatsby again before the Leo DiCaprio movies comes out next year.

I ADORE that cover of The Great Gatsby! *__* It's so pretty! But it really is ridiculous how long the introduction is! Even though none of my classmates liked it, I still enjoyed that book! The first half of the story was a bit slow paced but funnily enough I still liked it :D

Great haul hun!

I have quite a few of the books you showed this week and I am really confident you will love Perfect Chemistry and Anna & The French Kiss, they are 2 of my favourite contemporary reads. I did enjoy Hereafter and Born at Midnight but neither are favourites of mine and I don't know if I will continue the series but plenty of others love them so hopefully you will too. Forgive My Fins is really cute!
