Goodreads synopsis:
Hell’s newest employee, Lilith Straight, thinks she’s got a handle on her job as the Devil’s temptress until she finds herself going horns-to-halo with a guardian angel who’s determined to rescue Lilith’s next victim. To make matters worse, William Darcy, the hottest demon in hell, is trying to undermine Lilith’s mission with a few temptations of his own.

Just when I thought nothing could make Lilith Straight's world chaotic or exciting, it went and happened!
I had been so excited to read this, ever since I finished reading Straight to Hell last year - and it definitely hasn't disappointed!
The book opens with a jump straight (get it?!) into Lilith's first assignment of the novel, and the one that will set us up for the rest of the book. All Lilith has to do is convince her assignee to mail his package ... simple, right? Wrong! If you though that a ferocious demoness as an overlord, and an awkward-to-tempt assignee, who doesn't buy any of her charm was more than enough for Lilith to deal with ... try adding an annoying persistent angel into the mix, and see what new kind of chaos this creates.
So now Lilith definitely has more than a couple of big problems to juggle, but things only get worse, as more complications get added into the fiery pit!

Lilith does literally go through hell in this novel, but that can really only prove her character's strength and determination - especially when you consider that she is doing everything to keep the ones she loves (this is an achievement in itself - demons are not supposed to love anyone!) out of harms way.
I know what you're thinking ... "A selfless demon?! That's not even possible!" ... Well, I would tell you two things about Lilith: 1) No one is entirely selfless or perfect - not even Lilith (even if all she does is occasionally attempting to get one up on her ex-husband, nosey neighbours, or her incubus counterpart, William), and 2) I'm not entirely sure that she is all demon. After all, we can already see that she interacts with angels on a fairly regular basis (even if you do only count that pesky angel that won't stop interfering with her assignment!). I don't want to say any more about that though, for fear of giving too much away. We'll just say that I have my theories and suspicions!
But I did just love the selflessness that ran beneath all of her actions, as she tried her best to keep Grace and Ari safe.

As for the plot itself - I just couldn't find anything really wrong with it! I love how fast-paced Michelle's books are. It makes for really exciting, keeping-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat reading, and this one is definitely not an exception! The plot doesn't stand still for one moment - it's like a fidgety child - but in this case, fidgety is good. There is never a dull or wasted moment!
Just like Straight to Hell, the written style of this book is also really fluent and easy to get on with. It's so friendly and informal that it's easy to become instantly drawn into the story, and Lilith's character really helps to make it even more so. She has to be one of the most entertaining and humourous characters I've ever met! I love the little verbal quips she fires at the other characters - I found myself laughing out loud (sometimes to my utter embarrassment, when not reading alone) on a number of occasions throughout the book, so despite it's sometimes dark atmosphere and nail-biting suspense, we also get to have a good giggle with Lilith, which is great!

I can't wait to see what is going to happen next in this series for several (very good) reasons. The first of these is that I have to know what is going to happen between Lilith and William now. Even though William is the master of seduction, and an apparent bad boy, he's a real softie at heart, and I adore him! I would love him even more if he and Lilith got a bit closer though!
I also need to know what happens with the cliffhanger at the end of the novel. Without giving too much away, we are presented with an entirely new character, who has replaced another character, and this could have some huge consequences for Lilith! It's seriously exciting stuff!

I don't know what more I can do to convince you that this series has to be read - I can just hope that my excitement about this series has been passed on to you, and you will now go off and buy the eBooks!
They are both available on Smashwords really cheaply (and because it's Smashwords, you can download them in any eBook format, to suit any reader), so there isn't really an excuse ;)
Seriously though - I adore this series, and I'd really love to pass on the adoration to you!
I recommend this series to all fans of adult Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy. It's a must read!

I love listening to all kinds of music, I don't have a specific genre that I prefer but some of my favourite artists are Jessie J, Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones.

The second book to the series sounds really great from your review!

And to answer the question, I don't have a specific genre that I like for music but I'm listening to Maroon 5's songs lately. :)

I love reading books that make you laugh at loud (even if they do make you look like an idiot in public places). Thanks for the great review! :]
