Review Copy Cleanup #4: Mysterious Meetup

This is the fourth in the Review Copy Cleanup posts, and as much as I've enjoyed doing them, it's the penultimate one - meaning last week is the last week!
Hopefully there will be another challenge like this one again soon!

This week, the post is 'Mysterious Meetup', where will will post about which fictional characters we would most like to walk off the pages of fiction, and into reality.
And here is my response.

I'd love to meet so many characters out of this series, but I think I'm going to have to settle for three of them.
The first one I'd choose is fairly obvious - the lady herself, Miss Sookie Stackhouse. She's one of the most feisty and strong women in fiction (in my humble opinion), and no matter what's thrown at her, she still manages to come out the other end, and not allow it to get her down. I know I'd definitely want to be friends with Sookie, if she could walk off the pages.
The other characters from the series that I would meet are men (obviously... there are an abundance of wonderful male characters, in this series).
The first I would meet would be Eric - the sexy Viking Vampire! At the beginning of the series, he's a really formidable character, but this doesn't mean that he's all bad - as he proves later on in the series. I think his character takes a top spot for me from Dead to the World (book 4) onwards. I don't want to give anything about this book away, as I know many of you watch the TV series, True Blood, and if you've not seen it already (like me - I have to wait until the DVD comes out in May!) then I won't ruin anything for you. If you've not read the books up until this point - well, then shame on you! ;)
The final character that I'd meet is another of my favourites. Quinn. Now, I really don't want to say too much about Quinn - again for those of you who haven't gotten that far yet, or only watch the series (shame on you again!) - but I will say that he's definitely worth reading on for! He enters the series near to the end of Dead as a Doornail (book 5), but is most prominent in Definitely Dead (book 6), which is one of my favourites in the series. He's a Were-Tiger, but a gentle and loving one, and I love his relationship with Sookie in the sixth book. I'd love to talk to him and find out what his life is like when we don't see him in the books!

What do you think of the
beautiful, animated cover?
There are a couple of other characters that I would love to meet as well. They're from my favourite book of 2011, Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder!
I'd love to meet the two protagonists - Avry and Kerrick. Avry is another strong, female character. She knows her own mind, and is determined to do things her own way - even if it sometimes gets her into trouble. And Kerrick, despite his hard outer-shell is a really caring character, but he also has his own strengths and secrets. When you put the two characters together, you're bound to get some explosive results. I absolutely adored this book, and I recommend that everyone reads it! You can read my review by clicking HERE.

Meeting Avry and Kerrick would be awesome! Touch of Power was one of my favorite reads last year.

I would also really like to meet Henry Tilney from Northanger Abbey, because I think we would really hit it off (not like I live in a fantasy world or anything, haha).

Eric! I'd love to meet him too. :o He's kind of awesome. And Swedish. I bet my bf would like to question him about vikings. ;) And Avery would be seriously cool to meet as well!

If you want to check out my mysterious meetups, they can be found here! :)

Ooh, love the first cover. And I haven't read any of those books. More food for the TBR. *sigh*

I haven't read the True Blood books but love the tv programme. I'd love to meet Eric but I think I'd be slightly scared of his teeth sinking into my death...wouldn't be quite a good conversation if that happened!
Great choices :)

Great choices! I've read the Sookie books up to book four, because after that I couldn't find the book with the correct covers to match my set. *sigh* I would love to meet Eric though, he is so jummy in book four! And Sookie herself is a great character too (:
