In my Mailbox #22

It's Sunday again, and that means we need another In my Mailbox.
I love sharing what books I got during the week with you guys, so this is the perfect post for me.
It's been a fairly good week for physical books, so we should get going with it!

Physical books: To Review

Crave by Melissa Darnell [From Mira Ink]: I missed this one, when it was on NetGalley a little while ago, and I was really upset that I'd not got it, so I'm chuffed to finally have a copy to review now. Look out for a review really soon!

Fateful by Claudia Gray [From HarperCollins]: This will be the first Claudia Gray novel that I've read, but I'm hoping I'll enjoy it enough, that it won't be my last! It sounds like a really unique read - I've never seen a titanic story with a fantasy twist to it before now. Look out for a review later this month.

Partials by Dan Wells [From HarperCollins]: I've been looking forward to this one for so long now - I can't wait to get my teeth into it. This is another that I will hopefully be reviewing before the end of the month.

Physical Books: Presents/Won

Mist by Kathryn James: This was the first book I got as a belated birthday present, from my friend Abi, at University. It's been on my wishlist for ages now, so it was a really great choice on her part!

Blood Sinister by Celia Rees: This is the second present I got from Abi, and another that's been on my wishlist for a little while - although not as long as Mist has been there. It looks like something quite different from Celia's usual style, so I'll be interested to see what it's like.

This is Not Forgiveness by Celia Rees: It does seem like I'm having a bit of a Celia Rees fest' this week, doesn't it? I actually won this one just under a month ago, but it has taken a little while to find its way to me. I'm really pleased it's finally here though. I won it from Laura at SisterSpooky: Book Fangirl, and it's a signed copy, so I love it even more because of this! I get very excited over signed books. I can't wait to read it.

eBooks

Illicit Magic by Camilla Chafer [Bought]: I've been looking at this for a little while now, and as it was cheap on Amazon for Kindle (around 70p, I think), I decided to download it. I hope it's as good as I'm expecting it to be.

Halflings by Heather Burch [NetGalley for Review]: I've seen this one around on a few other blogs, and so I thought I'd give it a go. There's really not much more to my decision to get it than that. It just goes to show how much influence us book bloggers have over readers!

Smoke and Magic by Patti Larsen [Free download for Kindle]: A little while ago, I bought one of Patti's other novels, Family Magic, from Smashwords, and I have been really interested in this one as well, for quite a while now. Patti added me on goodreads earlier in the week, and informed me, during our chats, that the book was free for Kindle on that specific day only. I snapped it up. Love that cover though - kind of wishing that my copy wasn't an eBook (but the books will be out in paperback in April... *said in mysterious voice*). I'm looking forward to this one!

That's it for this week's book haul, I'm afraid. I'm sure there will be plenty more to share next week though!
What did you get through your mailbox this week? Let us know in the comments :)

I keep thinking Partials looks good and everyone seems to be reading it but...one person made a comment about the politics not being thought out and that is a pet peeve of mine in dystopian fiction so I had better steer clear.
