Kitty Goes to Washington by Carrie Vaughn
Goodreads synopsis:
Celebrity werewolf and late-night radio host Kitty Norville prefers to be heard and not seen. So when she's invited to testify at a Senate hearing on behalf of supernaturals, and her face gets plastered on national TV, she inherits a new set of friends, and enemies, including the vampire mistress of the city; an über-hot Brazilian were-jaguar; and a Bible-thumping senator who wants to expose kitty as a monster. Kitty quickly learns that in this city of dirty politicians and backstabbing pundits, everyone's itching for a fight.

I really loved the first in this series, so I keep meaning to pick this one up, and carry on with the series. I don't know why I haven't done it yet, but I think when I've managed to get through some of the review books I have, I'll read this one! Can't wait to see how the series develops - especially after how Kitty and the Midnight Hour ended!
Which books are you planning to read soon, that have been on that pesky TBR pile for far too long? Let me know in the comments :)

Sounds like a thrilling book - nevertheless probably a bit too much different creatures and superpower-mix for myself. Nevertheless I'd like to read it. Sometimes the book I think I'm not gonna like can really impress me by how much I love reading them.
I'm looking forward to (finally) read Suzanne Collins' Mockingjay (already ordered it at amazon) and John Green's The Fault in Our Stars (that's still on my wishlist).
Oh wow! How haven't I heard of this before!
