Musing Mondays #1

So I've decided that Mondays need a change of pace on Pen to Paper, so I had a look around and came across Musing Mondays.
This meme is hosted by Should be Reading.
Every week a new 'musing' question is posted by the host for all participants to answer in their own posts.

This week's musing is:

What is/are the first book(s) you're reading for the new year?

Well, I have already posted my first review for the new year, which was for Incarnate by Jodi Meadows. It was a wonderful read - I'm so happy that it turned out to be so good after I had such high expectations of it. I really recommend getting hold of a copy when it's released at the end of this month!
You can read my review for the book HERE. And keep an eye out over the next few days for my interview with the author, Jodi Meadows.

I started Incarnate on December 27th though, so I'm only half counting it as the first book of the year. The first book I will have started in the new year is Where Demons Fear to Tread by Stephanie Chong. I haven't actually started to read yet, but I will be later on today. It looks like it's going to be a good one, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be another that lives up to expectations!

What books have you all started in the new year? Let me know in the comments! :)
