In my Mailbox #16

This week's In My Mailbox isn't as impressive as my post last week, but I've still got some pretty exciting books to share with you all.
As usual, I'll share my physical books first and then finish with the eBooks.

Physical books

The Darkening Dream by Andy Gavin (For review from the author): This is Andy Gavin's debut novel. Before he wrote this, he worked for a video games company, which produced the bestselling series, Crash Bandicoot. I was really excited when Andy contacted me and asked me for a review. I'll definitely be reading and reviewing this one soon!

And When Did You Last See Your Father? by Blake Morrison: This is one that I'm reading for my Life Writing module at University this semester. I've read a little of it already and I'm liking it so far. Hopefully I'll enjoy the rest of it too!

Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr: This one was a wishlist book that a friend sent to me during the week, which was really lovely of her! I'm really looking forward to reading it :)

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (signed edition): I don't usually buy too many hardbacks like this one, but I couldn't resist buying this signed copy from work. It sounds like a really interesting read, but I think I'll save it for after I've read his other book, Looking for Alaska, which I got a couple of weeks ago.

You Against Me by Jenny Downham (proof copy from work): We had a huge box full of different proof copies in the staff room when I went into work yesterday, and after I read Before I Die a couple of years ago, and loved it, I couldn't resist having this one!

The Last Vampire (& Black Blood) by Christopher Pike: This was pretty much an impulse buy from Amazon Marketplace. It cost me a grand total of £2.81, so I think you'll be able to understand! It's been on my wishlist for a while, so I'm glad to finally have it on my shelves (or it'll be on shelves when I get my new bookcase!).

eBooks for Review (from NetGalley)

After the Snow by S. D. Crockett:  This sounds like a great read, that has a bit of everything. I'm hoping it'll be a really interesting story of exploration.

Life is But a Dream by Brian James: This one looks like a really different read to my usual books, so I'm really looking forward to trying it out!

Endure by Carrie Jones: This is the fourth in the series. I still have the other three to read, but I'm hoping I like the others enough to get around to reading this one some time this year.

That's pretty much it for this week. What did you get through your mailboxes this week? Let us know in the comments!

Pretty covers of the books you've got. I couldn't exactly read anything it was in code on my computer, but looks like a great haul. Here's mine: http://danicapage.blogspot.com/2012/01/in-my-mailbox-12.html

I've watched a guy get his naval pierced before! It was about a week before I had my own pierced, haha! He was gay though, so I suppose it's slightly different?
Still a little odd though, I admit.
