Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh
Waterstone's synopsis:
Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she's the best - but she doesn't know if she's good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful Archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, only one thing is clear - failure is not an option ...even if the task she's been set is impossible. Because this time, it's not a wayward vamp she has to track. It's an archangel gone bad. The job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other ...and pull her to the razor's edge of passion. Even if the hunt doesn't destroy her, succumbing to Raphael's seductive touch just may. Because when archangels play, mortals break ...

After reading and loving the first in the Psy-Changling series and loving it, I decided that I would get some more of Nalini Singh's books. I got this one straight away, but I've not picked it up to read in the two years it's been on my shelves. It sounds really different to other paranormal romance novels about Angels, so I'm really hoping it's worth the wait. Fingers crossed I will be able to get round to it sometime this coming Christmas!

this book has been at the top of my TBR pile for almost a year. But I vow to read Angel's blood this OCTOBER 2011. Somehow, someway. I just have to get over my current obsession with the Darkyn series

I've never read anything by Nalini Singh, but I hear she is supposed to be very good! The storyline does sound rather different and good, I must say! Hope you enjoy it when you get round to reading it!
