This time around it will be a little different. This time I have decided that in order to appeal to more of my wonderful followers, I will give the winner a choice between one of three different books. After much deliberation, these are the three that I have chosen:
Stray by Rachel Vincent
Goodreads synopsis:
There are only eight breeding female werecats left . . .
And I'm one of them.
I look like an all-American grad student. But I am a werecat, a shape-shifter, and I live in two worlds.
Despite reservations from my family and my Pride, I escaped the pressure to continue my species and carved out a normal life for myself. Until the night a Stray attacked.
I'd been warned about Strays -- werecats without a Pride, constantly on the lookout for someone like me: attractive, female, and fertile. I fought him off, but then learned two of my fellow tabbies had disappeared.
This brush with danger was all my Pride needed to summon me back . . . for my own protection. Yeah, right. But I'm no meek kitty. I'll take on whatever -- and whoever -- I have to in order to find my friends. Watch out, Strays -- 'cause I got claws, and I'm not afraid to use them . . .
Ultraviolet by R.J. Anderson
Goodreads synopsis:
Once upon a time there was a girl who was special.
This is not her story.
Unless you count the part where I killed her.
Sixteen-year-old Alison has been sectioned in a mental institute for teens, having murdered the most perfect and popular girl at school. But the case is a mystery: no body has been found, and Alison's condition is proving difficult to diagnose. Alison herself can't explain what happened: one minute she was fighting with Tori -- the next she disintegrated. Into nothing. But that's impossible. Right?
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
Goodreads synopsis:
From the Booker Prize-winning author of The Remains of the Day comes a devastating new novel of innocence, knowledge, and loss. As children Kathy, Ruth, and Tommy were students at Hailsham, an exclusive boarding school secluded in the English countryside. It was a place of mercurial cliques and mysterious rules where teachers were constantly reminding their charges of how special they were.
Now, years later, Kathy is a young woman. Ruth and Tommy have reentered her life. And for the first time she is beginning to look back at their shared past and understand just what it is that makes them special–and how that gift will shape the rest of their time together. Suspenseful, moving, beautifully atmospheric, Never Let Me Go is another classic by the author of The Remains of the Day.

Yay, even better :-) I've heard about it before but I never had the chance to actually read it. I'll definitely add it to my TBR pile even if I don't win :D

Definitely do it!
And then AFTER you've finished it, watch the film - it is the BEST adaptation I've ever seen, which is good really as it's a favourite of mine. I was fully ready, sitting in the cinema, to hate it, but it reduced me to tears. Beautiful.
I've wanted to read Stray for ages but kept forgetting the title and author name while at the bookstore. Awesome giveaway! Good luck, everybody. :)
Thanks for this Dani! I've opted for Never Let Me Go - I had a copy a few years back and gave it away without reading it...............WHY WHY WHY?!?!?
